I haven't visited in ages and plan to hang out and see who's still around. I wanted to pop in and mention Bukisa.  I joined it last week and it's much like a cross between ehow and an article directory except that you get paid for page views, get paid for those in your referral network.

I made myself a website last week to advertise my freelance writing services and it's been a great learning experience. I went with HostGator and have found them excellent so far. I used their web templates in their site studio product to create the look of the site and added a wordpress blog.

What forums do you frequent? If you're a writer, writing forums are a great way to meet other writers, learn about jobs, have a place to vent and share information. I am being teased something terrible by our new feature of buddy lists. My friends gracepub, wahmwriter and Trick Falls are all using it--this I know because they've added me to their list but alas, I have been lazy here on Communati lately as I've been slaving away at my freelance writing job so I have not yet accumulated enough points to participate.

I have had a really busy summer and have recently acquired enough regular work to warrant starting a team. An agency I work for has also made me a team leader so I'm looking to add a few freelance writers to my team. Last week, I was pointed to a blog entry that someone asked if I'd written because it sounded like me. I looked and it looked like something I'd written a few weeks before. I looked again and it looked a LOT like that something. I looked back at my blog and found that the owner of the entry I'd been pointed to had written a comment on my own blog entry. I was stunned. Was it an error?

I started my blogspot blog, The Writer's Blog a few months ago deciding to use my name instead of my alias and to further write about being a writer. I'm starting to see some great results with Google.

Today I wrote in my other blog about sweatshop writing jobs.

I resurrected my old original blogger blog a few weeks ago that I made up last year exclusively for Blogitive postings. It collected dust for a while after Blogitive changed their rules but I recently resurrected it as my soapbox and a place to put paid to post ads.
