There's been a lot of talk this week about the effect of the latest Google Page Rank update. Many A-list bloggers are up in arms because they don't see why they should be penalised for making money with their blogs. Some have responded with indignation, and others with humour, with the overall verdict being that most of them have diverse sources of income and a strong readership base, so they won't let this fluctuation worry them.

As for me, I'm happy, because Get Paid To Write Online now has a PR of 3, only a few months after starting up. PR is not the be all and end all, but it does help you market your blog to some companies. So I'm happy to have a PR of 3 rather than 0 but I won't be relying on that to provide all of my blog's selling power. I'll stick to good content and talking to readers instead.
