I noticed a trend from the last few years. I am more productive in the winter with my business. Last year, I made most of my year's earnings in the months of November and December.

Why is this? I know a lot of you experience the same thing - but I don't have kids that are home. My husband still works, as usual.

I have a few theories:

-- Although we have central air, my office is perpetually hot

-- I'm only an hour away from the beach, and two from the mountains

-- It's summer vacation - yes, I'm 30 and well past that - but it's summer vacation!

-- I like to garden, and I can't write while I garden.

So, I don't know if I should try to break that habit, or work with it. Just deal with it and adapt. Of course, if I had residual income, this wouldn't even be an issue.
