I just wanted to weigh in on some of the political stuff over the past few days and put my thoughts out for all to see. We are getting into the nitty gritty of the presidential nominating season now and things are really heating up.
Hillary said Obama had not done the "spadework" to be the the candidate for the Democrats. I am glad one of the big Republican candidates did not say that. The media would have hounded them until they quit. I think Hillary got a gold star for saying it.
Here is Texas, Dennis Kucinich will be kept off the ballot for the Democratic primary. A judge actually ruled that the Democratic Party in Texas' rights superseded Mr. Kucinich's. Maybe this guy needs another round of civic lessons!! Individual rights in this country are never superseded by anything, but we have trampled on that right for sure. That is one of the biggest rights we have lost in a lot of cases.
The Republican race is going to get interesting now. There is no clear front runner and that is the way it's supposed to be. Why should Iowa and New Hampshire set the tone for the country? They are trend setters for nothing in my book. Last night Mitt Romney won in Michigan. So things move to Nevada and South Carolina next. This is going to be good. If Giuliani can win in Florida and the rest of the guys begin to split some states the convention might have to actually nominate the candidate and not just confirm him!
The Democrats are a bit muddled for sure. The left always talks about race as a big issue. They want us to think the Republicans are the ones who are mean-spirited and such on the issue. But as the GOP guys go about their business the Democrats, Hillary and Obama, are mired in the race issue. You better think long and hard about supporting these two people.
These are just a few thoughts about politics from me. It's will get even more interesting as time goes on. I guess we all need to stay tuned. More later!!

Rights
Let's not forget about the rights of all the Democrats in Texas to choose who they want. The court has basically told them that they can't choose one candidate. One of the very things the Founding Fathers didn't want courts to do.
