Well, I've given my blog some time. I took the blogrolling script off. I fixed the template problem. I stopped doing the paid blogging. And my rank is still zero. At this point, I am not sure if it is worth worrying about. I am still getting the same amount of traffic. I am just making less money because I am not accepting any of those posts. Most of them have been requiring a page rank of at least two, which I don't have anymore. So it's sort of a Catch-22. Even if I wanted to start back up with them, I don't know if I can.
 
Meanwhile, I am building my blog up with a more long term strategy. I think in the long run, Adsense will work out well. I don't get a lot of traffic - maybe fifty hits a day (and a lot of that is just me checking on things) and I am making anywhere from $.30 - $1 on Adsense. I don't think that's bad considering the number of visits I am getting daily (probably about 40, and I am getting at least one click).
 
I think it is far more important to worry about content, and providing the reader with a meaningul experience. There aren't a whole lot of paid posts out there that focus on writing. I may have a different opinion for a different niche. But for writing, I am keeping the paid posts off there for now.
